Jana Curcio
(b.1971) is a mixed media artist living and working in Washington DC. Over the course of 20 years she has been a professional photographer, including being a staff photographer with various newspapers, and also running a successful documentary photography business.
More recently, Curcio has focused her practice in fine art, and has received recognition for her work through awards including; 2021 JMCA Fine Art Nude Series Winner, 2020 Pollux Awards, 2019 Photographer of the Year (team participant), “Visualize Racism”, 2019 & 2018 Soho Photo Gallery International Portfolio Contest, 2018 International Photography Awards and 2017 Fine Art Photo Awards.
